An interview with Dolly appeared in the Oct. 8 A&E "Biography" of actor Roddy McDowall. Filmed before his death, the documentary looked at the life of the legendary actor, who died of cancer in California on Oct. 3 at the age of 70. Dolly, identified by the narrator as McDowall's friend, spoke of what a kind and wonderful man he was and noted his great parties, which brought legends of Hollywood like Elizabeth Taylor together with, as she put it, "hics" like herself and Billy Bob Thornton. McDowall's final film appearance was in "The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli and Baloo" in 1997. His other three last films were all in 1996: "It's My Party" (theatrical release), "Dead Man's Island" (television movie), and "Unlikely Angel" (in which he played St. Peter to Dolly's unlikely angel).
